When the Olympics began on August 8th, 2008, millions of people around the world tune into their TV to see the grand opening ceremony hosted in Beijing's Bird's Nest. As the games began, people kept their unwavering eyes and opened mouth at the athletes, praying for a gold. After Michael Phelps won his eighth medal, a record of 66 million people around the world had tuned in to watch him. This made me wonder what attracts people to the Olympics? Is it cheering for their country or their favorite athlete? Is it because people want to see what makes Olympics so popular? Or are they just watching because everyone else is watching? Whatever the reason is, I believe there's a fundamental feeling of pride within every human being watching their own race being fast, being strong, and most of all, being the best. It is awesome to watch actual people do things people never thought possible, pushing the human body to the limit. What makes this even more entertaining is that the best all around the world come together to compete. As everyone cheered for their country, they are also amazed at the almost limitless ability of humans.
I was fascinated by the Olympics. Goosebumps chilled my arms as I watched the stadium cheer for the winners. At the end of the games, when the announcer of NBC concluded the Olympics with a great speech, I was moved. If people could come together peacefully for 2 weeks, why can't they do so for two months, two years? How about two hundred years? I wholeheartedly agreed with the announcer.
Finally, NBC concluded the Beijing Olympics 2008 with some footage of triumphant as well as defeated athletes. I cried as I watch them smile at the camera, raising their golden prizes high above their heads. How it must have felt to be labeled the best in the world, the feeling of ovewhelming joy that years of hardwork, sweat, and perseverance had paid off. As the 2008 Olympics ended, I wiped away my tears and smiled. This year was a great game.

Download whole Nobuta wo Produce torrent!!!
Hehe, now for something illegal... :P I have the whole Nobuta wo Produce series from Veoh (by the way, it's a great client for downloading videos. THey have A LOT of videos in their database.) So I have decided to create it as a torrent and share it with you all. It's very large (about 4.3 gigabytes) so might take some time. Also, I am the only one seeding it, and I'd appreciated very much if people could download and seed it with me!! :) So here it is peeps! and spread the word!
Nobuta wo Produce is a very cute Japanese drama based on a book of the same title. It talks about three different high school students who became friends. Very touching! very good. For more info, check it out here: http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic_32191.htm

Three freeware to protect you computer
So about a few weeks ago I was surfing the internet, but suddenly a pop-up came up that said somethin like: WARNING: you computer is infected, please download this software to rid of your malware. By now, I was little panicky, so I clicked okay and downloaded this software. That was a mistake. The program ended up being a spyware and resets my homepage and registry values and even blocked me from the internet by constantly shutting it down. ARRGH! And my computer was not prepared for this. I have no anti-spyware program whatsoever, and how could I download one when the internet keeps closing? But I managed. I keep ignoring the pop-up and keep trying a dn trying again to download Spybot-Search and Destroy. I ran the anti-spyware program and deleted the nasty spyware! Whew! So people out there not yet infected with fake anti-virus/malwaer/spyware, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT download anything that pops up at you, even if it says your omputer is infected. Your computer by that time is infected, yes, but you will get yourself into deeper trouble by downloading that thing. Everyone, Spybot-Search and Destroy is a must-have to protect your computer against spyware. Most of all, the program is free.
So the second must-have is CCleaner, stands for CrapCleaner. Hehe. It frees unused space in your computer and deletes it. It also scans for registry errors. Pretty good huh? Freeing up space in your computer could also speed it up! It is also free.
The third software is the renowned Pctools anti-virus. It is, of course, an anti-virus. But it is FREE! It does not, like most trial or limited anti-virus which scans for the viruses, and shows you all of it right infront of you, and you think "oh yay! I can finally delete all this virus on my computer!" But noooo, like most stingy companies, in order to delete it, you have to pay. pctools is about the only anti-virus out there that's free! Get it today. You also get regular updates and monitors your computer in the background. That's cool.
So these three softwares will keep your computer clean and malware free from just about anything!

Hello world!
I am new to blogging, but I have always wanted to start a page that tells everything I want to say, my tiny tidbits, and recently read books, watched movies, etc... All comments are more than welcome! Feel free to flame me, criticize my writing, praise me----anything! haha. Yep, I'm serious. I'm enjoying bloggin already! This is fun. Okay, I'll update you guys on many things. I have plans to make this blog a site to help adolenscent and young people in any areas: whether it's friends, school work, manners, experiences, stress, personality, confuzzlement (confuse + puzzlement----I got this from my sister's friend hehe), or you just want to talk, I'm all ears. Since I am imterested in people, and like observing them, I had a few small moments when light shone on me. I will gladly share all my knowledge of life (so far) with you, as litle as that may be. Oh yeah, as you can tell already, I am still struggling with grammar. Shame on me because I am a rising Senior! Goodness. So bear with me minnas! I'll keep you posted. So again, I'll be putting up tips, book/movie review, and other very random things.
